Eastern Township Garden and Forest

After four days in a Montreal Airport Hotel, where the view mostly consisted of concrete and hard edges, Constance, Rose and their human were very grateful to have a couple of days in the serene and lovely Eastern Townships of Quebec.

On the forest floor they loved finding the evidence of berries soon to come!

Rose thinks the Lady’s Mantle plant has very nice lines,

… but is actually rather delicate and hard to fasten…perhaps better to leave it attached to the plant…

The garden, the forest, ever changing, the view in every direction a restorative balm… how happy we are to have experienced this ever so briefly.

  1. So glad there was a natural respite for you all after the concrete of Montreal. It’s so nice to see some of the Quimper Hittys adorned in such beautiful fashions, those that are man-made alongside those freely given and unique only in the natural world

  2. such lovely photos. Leave it to Constance to find berries….or at least Berries To Be. Glad you were able
recharge the senses in such a wonderful place. Rose is charming in her Lady’s Mantle cape. So clever and sweet.

    • It was a beautiful peaceful and friendly intermission for us – between conference and obligations of “real life”. We are so grateful to our friends for fetching, and spending time with us!
