Agathe and Min visit the Breakwater

Breakwater Rest

Breakwater Rest

One of  our favourite places to walk on a nice day is along the 800 m long breakwater that shelters the Victoria Harbour entrance…on a fine day it is possible to walk along the lower level along giant blocks of granite.  Min and Agathe accompanied some visitors on a stroll a few days ago.

What have we here?

What have we here?

As usual, there are fascinations galore for very small wooden persons to discover….

Min thought this was the cutest little Isopod she had ever seen in all her born days…

She carried it faithfully almost the entire rest of the day,  but Agathe convinced her it would be too scuttley to keep as a pet, and they set it free before returning to the Hitty cupboard.

  1. It looks like they had a very nice walk. Min was wise to let the isopod free – it would have driven everyone crazy with its constant motion.

  2. Min is such a sweetie. Another thing I had never seen…a tiny Isopod!! Another enjoyable visit with the Quimper Hittys and their fascinating environment. Lovely photos as always!!

    • Especially on a sunny calm day! It can be a different kind of beautiful in a storm, but then it is risky for Hittys to be outdoors Crashing waves and gale force winds are best observed from indoors!
