  1. OK, that’s it….mutiny at home!!!!! This Hitty family wants to migrate out West!!!!!! They think their life is in need of adventure and….most of all, the bounty of colors!!!!!!! Simply superb! Thanks for highlighting the beauties of our world….we tend to forget. Big hug Tansy, job well done. My girls will relish in the photos for the time being.love.

    • Tansy is sorry to have caused a ruckus in your Hitty household, please let them know they are always welcome to visit the west coast! I have to admit that the girls left behind in the Quimper Hitty Cupboard are a little envious of Tansy’s adventurous opportunities!

  2. I see that Tansy found Yellow Cedar soap. That seems appropriate!
Making friends with iguanas seems a slow business when all they do is blink (rarely) and make imperceptible movements. She probably had as much success with the lizard on the carved skull.
She sure is having a lot of fun during her field trip adventures.

    • Lizard is an odd language too…at times ponderous and other times skittish and just the flick of a tail. As for soap, Tansy suggests mixing a little soap up into a foam, dabbing a washcloth in the foam and giving her face a gentle wipe…cedar foam would be nice, but other soap will do.

  3. Tennie looks forward to meeting the great adventurer, Tansy, some day! She can hardly wait to return to the Coast, as she has faint memories of being blockish there, but since her eyes weren’t opened yet, she didn’t see much. She has a great longing for the ocean, though….

  4. I do think Tansy should have bought one of those little skulls!! Hetty Hickory says it would make a wonderful Halloween decoration. Such wonderful photos….brightened the day here in Mo!

    • She may yet acquire a skull – I liked them too. We find the enthusiasm and commitment, not to mention the colours and variety in market gardens to be very encouraging and delightful.
