Moss St Market

Damp and dismal day

Everyone Else is Busy

It was a dark and stormy Saturday with thunder, and drenching rain.  Most of the family were busy with other projects so Opal and Agathe decided to go outside regardless of the weather. After all living on the West Coast the Quimper Hittys are not afraid of a little rain,  and even have enough raingear to lend some to Opal.

They stayed dry while admiring the wet leaves in Ross Bay Cemetery.

Tomato Delight

…It was worth walking all the way to Moss St Market just to stand amongst these beautiful Tomatoes from Haliburton Farm!

House On Fire pottery was selling sweet little cats, and the girls were unable to resist the one with a hopeful and endearing little face…

…and so they adopted it, and brought it home along with a bouquet of fall flowers…it was a worthwhile trip!

  1. I am glad they did not get drenched, there was a torrent of rain this morning. And, I am glad you could find them among the brightly coloured fruit to help them get home or they might have been packed off to a farm at the end of the day, like so many red and yellow tomatoes!

    • They were quite camouflaged in the tomatoes, but ended up back safely in their sacks after every photo. The Kitty rode home in a pocket as well, and is trying to make friends with the already existing Quimper Hitty kitty who can’t see the need for another feline.
