12th Night
Agathe has heard that if Christmas decorations are not put away before Twelfth Night, the devil will sit on your chimney…Opal has never heart of that belief, but is willing to help put the orphan earrings away in the new old Christmas trunk…
…they are both a bit daunted by the thought of getting rid of the entire Gingerbread house by the end of the day…
…but they are going to make a valiant effort,
and the last we heard they were making excellent progress!
.
It’s a dirty job but someone has to do it! Poor things – I hope they come through OK.
They may eventually recruit the rest of the Quimper Hittys (who are looking on in astonishment tinged with envy)
They’ll be a little sluggish when they get through the sugar shock!
It is almost as if you speak with the wisdom of experience?!
When there’s a job to be done, the QHs and friend(s) seem to always know how to get it accomplished!
They were very glad to unearth the two-Hitty cross-cut timber saw – it was exactly the right instrument for the job!
not sure a cross-cut saw is in everyone’s tool box! is there anything the Hitty’s don’t have? the girls will be on a sugar high for a week, can’t wait to see what else they get up to.
We found it in a junk store in Poulsbo last summer and snapped it up immediately – we couldn’t help ourselves!
hmm, looks like you have just the crew for this job!! Great pics. Great girls!! Love seeing them.
They were happy to get to taste the gingerbread at last, though they may be sick of it by now!
Love that Gingerbread House – So sad to see it in pieces. The girls are doing good though…..They sure do not want any devils anywhere near them !!!!
No – they were glad to get all the decorations put away, and though are not sure the gingerbread house counts, they are doing their best to get rid of it!
