Laurels

Laurel Hedge

On the way home from work last night, Constance and I encountered a cascade of sweetly scented blossom clusters on an English Laurel bush.

Sweet scent

Sweet scent

We sniffed the flowers…

beautiful blossoms

beautiful blossoms

…admired each perfect individual little flower…

Resting on her Laurels

…and Constance sat for a minute in quiet repose, before we resumed the walk home.

  1. Ah, a moment of quiet repose for Constance amongst the laurels…I think no matter where she is, she’s always reflecting quiet repose. Thanks for sharing these beautiful moments.
