Getting Under Way

Getting Under Way

Tansy and her photographer have made it safely back to the Hitty Cupboard!! Tansy is happy to be back in civvy clothes, but also happy to recount her experiences to her enthralled Hitty sisters!

Navigating!

Navigating!

It was a bit of a bumpy ride at the beginning of the trip.

Stormy weather

Stormy weather

Tansy is glad she doesn’t suffer from seasickness!

Destination

The boat ride lasted nearly three hours, and they were all glad get to their destination, a float camp nestled in a sheltered spot in the Bischof Islands.

Wake

For the rest of their work in Haida Gwaii, they had very fine weather…The Archaeology crew was glad of that since they had to get up at the crack of dawn to take advantage of the low tide, and spend almost the whole of every day outdoors.

Helping Hand

Tansy was happy to see her old friend Gwaliga again, and he appeared to be happy to see her too!

Wheeeee!

  1. Hold on Tansy!!! Indeed you are getting quite experienced but accidents do happen! That balance act caused a scare among the Sutton household!!! Glad you made it back home safe and sound…bet you can teach a few tricks to this new “pirate” in the cupboard 😃

  2. ahhhh that Tansy!! The little dare devil. That pic of her balancing on the rail is terrific! As always the Country HIttys admired her wet weather garb. Happy that the intrepid Tansy and her favorite photographer are home safe and sound.
