A Wet November…
… doesn’t prevent Eugenia and Min from going out to help plant some spring flowers.
They both are happy to give the Quimper Hitty human a hand…
…even though it means getting dirty!
And then with the bulbs planted, fingernails scrubbed, and chair re-positioned…
… all they have to do is wait!
Opal and Agathe did not have much luck last year getting tulips to grow indoors and have given up gardening. We are hoping for better luck with these outdoor bulbs. We planted mostly miniature varieties of narcissus, Iris and Grape Hyacinth because they are Hitty-sized (six inches/15 cm!) but we couldn’t resist the “Yellow Cheerfulness” (16 inches/40 cm) narcissi because of the name!
