… all they have to do is wait!

Opal and Agathe did not have much luck last year getting tulips to grow indoors and have given up gardening.   We are hoping for better luck with these outdoor bulbs. We planted mostly miniature varieties of narcissus, Iris and Grape Hyacinth because they are Hitty-sized (six inches/15 cm!) but we couldn’t resist the “Yellow Cheerfulness” (16 inches/40 cm) narcissi because of the name!

  1. Cheerfulness in any color sounds good to me… Although yellow and sunshine do strike a chord! What wonderful thoughts and hopes it will generate in the deep of winter!!!

  2. Yellow Cheerfulness will be just the thing in those gray days of late winter. Fortunately, little wooden ones can be quite patient when they need to be.

  3. Wishing the little ones great luck with the bulbs. Now for patience….ahhh patience…as we all wait for spring.
    Fun photos, as always!
