Gráinne enjoyed the new pocket gallery at the Royal BC Museum. It has a display of interesting fishes found in British Columbia,  both real ones, and life-sized models.  She liked the red-coloured Blacktail snailfish (#5), the giant-toothed Shiny Loosejaw (#6) and the Helmet Jellyfish …

Some fish have such ferocious-looking teeth, it makes Gráinne feel glad that Pirates spend most of their time on and near the sea, and not in it.

  1. That was a day well spent Gráinne…learning about those very different fishes. Best of all, we get to learn too! Thank you for sharing!

  2. of course Grainne would be interested in denizens of the deep! Just happy that she was able to view them in the dry comfort of the museum. Too funny about the special fish and its “ridiculous” name!!
