Tansy on a Passing Cloud

Skidegate Motel

Tansy and her favourite photographer have just returned from weeks away on the North Coast of British Columbia…the photographer was hired as a visiting expert on a schooner, and Tansy went along to keep him company.  They both had proper rain gear, which was very useful, especially on the first part of the trip! Tansy thought this was a very boring view, and was eager to start the fun part of the adventure.

  1. What an adventurous spirit Tansy has! It seems she’s in the right family who seem to be full of that same spirit. Lovely sharing of this part of the journey. Thank you.

    • I think Tansy is glad to live in the Quimper Hitty cupboard, (except when she’s out adventuring) and we are certainly glad she’s one of us…she does come back with amazing tales to tell!

  2. Seriously, am I losing it? Have I been bumped on my head? Tansy is calmly looking out the window in “water rushing by” and has a completely different facial expression in the seatbelt shot…like she knows this is serious business. I am riveted waiting for more of this adventure with her favorite photographer.

  3. This has been the greatest!! Tansy in the seat belt position….too much!! Loving the scenery and the adventure. Thank you for taking us all along.

  4. Tansy is great company to take on a trip and has been to Haida Gwaii 5 times now, if I have not lost count.

On this voyage there were several people on board that had read the Hitty book when they were young and immediately recognized, and appreciated, the spirit of adventure that is ingrained in all Hittys. Tansy felt in good company.
