And after all…what’s one more cat in the Hitty cupboard!

The new cat is carved of stone – it is a little whistle made in China.

  1. How do you come up with so many adorable story lines? This one just melts my heart…every cat and dog should have a wonderful home…this little cat sure found one.
    Loved seeing Tuesday again!

    • I am not sure how the stories come…I just planned to take a picture of the kitty in the butcher shop…then when I looked at the picture on the computer, I thought something was missing…and took a few more. The picture with the Free Kittens sign was the last one I took, the idea just seemed to grow and grow!

  2. This is another “rich” narrative…layer upon layer of color, texture, fabrics, and CATS!!!! Tuesday chose my favorite. The QH household is surely purring away now with contentment.

    • That little cat is pretty cute, and everyone is purring! The Hittys already had wood, resin, ceramic, cast iron, felt and knitted cats – they never expected a stone cat to join the clowder…neither did I!

  3. Love the expression on that little carved cat. How sweet of Tuesday to adopt her. I am sure she will be a great addition to the Quimper cupboard. By the way it is lovely to see Tuesday out and about..she is such a darling.

    • Tuesday is happy that it is summer-time again, she has been snuggling under her encyclopedia quilt almost all winter, with her socks on. If I could find her some little boots she might be more active, but in any case she definitely prefers to run around barefoot.
